JDL-400 drilling rig is a water well drilling equipment (national invention patent: ZL201510479602.4) which is independently developed by our company. Our engineer received customers’ feedbacks and wanted to improve the drawbacks, such as replace drilling pipe and improve drilling speed.
It adopts AMT manual automatic transmission, 10 grade forward rotation, 2 grade Reverse, positive and negative switching is sensitive and convenient, the transmission efficiency is doubled compared with the hydraulic transmission, and the power consumption is reduced by 35%, which is more efficient and energy-saving. It solves the problem that the drilling of the air hole DTH hammer is difficult, and the construction efficiency of the hard rock layer, gravel and pebble layer rotary drilling rig is low.
Main features of JDL 400 Portable Drilling Rigs:
1. The speed of the drilling machine can reach the range of 14-650r/min, and the maximum output torque is 13400N.m.
2. The rig adopts long stroke double speed mechanism and mechanical power head, and the power head stroke is 3400MM, which is used to improve drilling efficiency and reduce the occurrence of blockage and burning drill accidents.
3. The drilling rig adopts double oil pump for oil supply. When drilling, it uses a single pump. When lifting the drill, it uses two pumps to merge; the power loss is small and the auxiliary time is short.
4, the use of the crawler chassis, the leg cylinder stroke 1.5m can be automatically loaded, easy to move and transport.
5. The drilling rig is in machinery. Some functional interfaces are reserved in the hydraulic system, and the functions can be expanded according to the process requirements of different users.
Four Steps to Operate JDL Water Well Drilling Rig
Step 1:
Before put drilling pipe, the hole wall, the hole diameter and the hole depth should be checked to find out whether the hole wall is smooth.
When the irregular hole wall such as the diameter reduction is found, it must be trimmed in time to ensure the smooth implementation of the subsequent process and measure the depth of borehole.
Then, connect the drilling pipes. If necessary, add floating plates in the pipe. The bottom of the pipe must be welded with steel plates.
Step 2:

Step 3:
Normally, JDL400 can drill a water well in 1-3days. The faster rotary speed, the more quickly you can drill well.
Before the well finished, a simple pumping test must be carried out to determine the actual recoverable water volume of the well. The water sample is taken 30 minutes after the pump is turned on to measure the sediment concentration and conduct water quality analysis and sampling.
